Latitude E 5410 + E-Port dock + E momitor stand

My problem? I connect my E5410 to the dock (E-port) and all works as it should. Now connect this to the E-monitor stand with monitor, keyboard and mouse and all works as it should, UNTIL the E5410 goes to sleep or what ever it's called and monitor goes to sleep and nothing will bring it all up again. I need to undock the E5410, power it off and replace it, sometimes several times to get it up and running again. What am I doing wrong or is there a internal problem?

Thanks for any help

If you completely shut down your system and connect it to the dock, then press the Power button on the dock, does that work to power on the system? If so, when you put your system to sleep, does the power button on the dock blink or pulse? If so, then the dock is aware that the system is sleeping and therefore that button should wake it up again. If that’s not the case, just to confirm, you’re saying that everything works normally in this respect when no peripherals are connected? If that’s the case, then maybe try connecting one of those things at a time to see which one causes the wake function to stop working. I’ve never heard of peripherals interfering with that function, but if it works without them connected and doesn’t work with them connected, then the next step is to find the specific culprit.
